Different industries.

The same starting point.

Captivate technology is applied in two industry contexts today: upgrading biogas and capturing industrial CO₂ emissions. Different gas, different economics - but every engagement starts the same way, with your gas composition and operating conditions run through Captivate Discovery.

The value is in the methane you keep.

Biogas plants exist to produce and sell gas as renewable natural gas, for on-site use, or into the grid. Every cubic metre of methane lost during CO₂ separation is revenue that doesn't get captured.

Captivate's adsorbent technology is designed to separate CO₂ from biogas while recovering more of the methane in the feed, using pressure-driven cycles instead of energy-intensive thermal regeneration.

Where this shows up:

  • Anaerobic digestion
  • Wastewater treatment
  • Agricultural biogas
  • Food and organic waste
  • Landfill gas
  • RNG production

Capture that fits the site, not just the smokestack.

Large point-source emitters have driven most carbon capture development to date. Many industrial sites - boilers, process heat, geothermal operations, cement and other manufacturing - don't run at the scale or budget that conventional capture technology assumes.

Captivate Carbon applies the same selective adsorbent and pressure-driven approach to reduce the energy and complexity of capturing CO₂ at smaller, more distributed scale.

 Where this shows up:

  • Industrial combustion
  • Boilers
  • Process emissions
  • Geothermal gases
  • Cement
  • Biogenic emissions
